Hello my lovely friends ๐
I just came across this lovely poem. It made me smile – so I want to share it with you!
I hope you love it too! ๐๐
I’m always curious about artists that touch something in me…so I (tried to) find out more about Nona Keen Duffy.
Sadly I couldn’t find much ๐
This lovely lady was born on 11 February , 1893, and died on 23 September 1989 at the age of 96.
She is buried in Glendale, California.
Nona was the 4th child of James and Victoria Keen, and had 4 sisters & 3 brothers.
I found this photo of the Keen family on Pinterest.
Nona is on the right, behind her baby sister Thelma.
Do you enjoy the time of year described in the poem? I love it – the heat is over and done with, but it’s warm enough to enjoy some outdoor-time. And the promise of Fall in the air – there’s nothing better than that!
I’m looking forward to hearing from you! ๐

I love thefall. I welcome it. It comes slowly sometimes. This year Im hoping for more color. Last year was dry and the colors were mostly browns. Im ready for vibrant oranges, yellows and reds . Pumpkins, carmel apples and horses in the fields

I love the picture youโre painting here ๐ We didnโt have any โFall color luckโ last year either. We went from heat, to cold within a few days. So the leaves dropped without changing ๐
Better luck this year! ๐๐๐

So cliche but I do love Fall and Spring. Not too cold, not too hot. ๐
