Hello my lovely friends π
Funny story…funny, weird – you decide π
Two, three nights ago I dreamt about this very post. I dreamt the title, that I wrote it, the pictures were there. It was so vivid, that I honestly thought it was done.
And I was a little bit sad π’ that no one liked it!
So today, while scrolling through all your wonderful posts, I wondered where my ‘Glance at last week’ disappeared to.
Well, you know the end of that story. π
So…without further ado – here it is (I hope π)
Monday…
I finished writing the pattern for my next workshop. It’ll be a ‘Lacy Scarf’. I decided to introduce three different stitches that make a gorgeous lace pattern.
See…
Tuesday…
Michele (my partner in crime) and I met to set the date and talk about the details. We agreed on everything, so that was done fast π and we got to enjoy our lunch while visiting with our friend Lili π
We forgot to take a picture…so I give you this. Just pretend it’s us π
Wednesday…
I decided I need new sneakers. That’s easier said than done…ugh! I must’ve tried on every pair in the store. A big shoutout to my friend Carole – she was very patient. π
Just as I was about to give up, I spotted a pair -in my size!!! – at the bottom of the clearance shelf. And they fit, and are very comfy! Score! π
One question remains though…why do all ‘Asics’ in 3 different sizes (6.5, 7, 7.5) fit the exact same way? Just a tad too small π It’s quite puzzling.
Then, of course…Lunch! π Good thing I only eat salads π
Thursday…
Just an ordinary day π Dog walking, ‘breaking in the sneakers’ speed walking, and – no, not lunch π – grocery shopping.
I finished the picot edging on the last sample scarf while watching the latest ‘ Garage Sale Mystery’. Those are so much fun! Do you watch?
The workshop flyer! I almost forgot to tell you about the flyer.
Here it is…
We have a few places in mind where we could distribute them…wish us luck π
Friday…
Started as a pretty normal day…until the kitchen sink clogged up. βΉοΈ Without warning- it just didn’t wanna anymore. Pffft
And nothing worked. We plunged, and poked the clog with wire. I even bent a wire hanger out of shape…nothing. Snake wouldn’t fit. Drano didn’t do diddlysquat.
Just as we were about to call someone, hubby poked it again…and there it went. Whatever it was – it’s gone.
I did get a little bit of crocheting done. I started to look into Freeform Crochet π
It is so much fun. Pretty perfect for yours truly! π Last years Puzzle Poncho had a few elements in it, now I did a sampler of different Scrumbles
Very promising! Don’t you think?
Saturday…
…is Farmers Market Day! Michele has a table at one close by. She sells her son’s wonderful artisan breads, and had the great idea to make a little display for our workshop.
Looks great! Doesn’t it? I would wanna sign up π
Sunday…
After a yummy lunch at the Casino Buffet, hubby went to poker and I played with Freeform Designs π
I’m really loving it! βΊοΈ
That’s all! Overall a pretty good week I’d say. ππ»
I’m sending you Smiles π Hugs π€ and Love π for a wonderful week!

You turned me onto the picots – I shall be forever grateful π
That bread is as good as it looks! Being from Germany Iβm a bit of a bread-snob π So Iβm very happy that this deliciousness is close by now π

You are going to have an awesome turn out. I wish I could attend! Love anything with bread, so a announcement with bread is a perfect pairing

Loved your ‘dream’ story. LoL As for trying on sneakers, I hate shopping for them. I don’t know why I have such a hard time finding something that fits and feels right but I do. I must have oddly shaped feet or something. And how exciting about your workshop. I would so attend if I was nearby!

That would be wonderful, Yolanda π Maybe one day when we have 2, 3-day workshops weβll get to meet! That one will be on me π
Yeah, sneaker shopping is no fun. I donβt remember it being that difficult! I donβt think itβs our feet…all my old sneakers fit fine, and are much more comfortable π© And why 3 different sizes fit the same I will never understand π
My dream was quite weird π wasnβt it!? My mind is probably telling me to get back to a regular blogging schedule π€
