Keep reading and you’ll find out π
Hello my lovely friends π
It feels like it’s been forever that I ‘talked’ to you. See – I’m going through an ‘obsessive’ crochet phase. I get that once in a while.
I thought about you and this little blog of mine often. I outline posts in my head, grab the iPad…then one glance toward the yarn – and that’s all she wrote. Or in this case – didn’t write. π
But maybe the fact that you’re actually reading something I wrote is a sign that the phase is ending. π
Now back to why you’re here…you wanna know what I’ve been up to. Here you go
I made a few hats
I shall call them ‘Never get lost in a snowstorm again’ π

I found a great pattern on Pinterest – How to size and crochet the perfect hat/beanie.
It’s a written pattern, and really easy to follow. If you want to make a hat or two…take a look
It doesn’t get easier than that. π
The only thing I changed, I added the ribbed edge using alternating fpdc/bpdc to give them a tighter fit. π
A scarf and another hat
For this scarf I recreated one of my jewelry designs
The two ends wrap around the neck, then get tucked through a loop behind the flower. That way you can wear it tight for extra warmth, or, if that gives you a ‘choking’ feeling, loose for looks. π
I do plan to write the pattern over the weekend, so you will see it within the next few days. Pinky swear πThe matching hat
My New Purse

I really love how this one came out π And it’s so much fun to make…I see a few more of them in our future π
A Puzzle Sweater
I made a little progress on this sweater. I took the pieces that were joined together apart, and started over. There is an idea behind the madness π You’ll see!

I’m currently working on a Puzzle Poncho for a constantly shivering friend. That poor girl is always cold, and since we are expecting another arctic blast π© she needs something warm and yarny asap. π By next time I’ll have a picture…hopefully of her wearing it! π
Oh….one more thing! Last weekend was the Fantastic Bake-Along, hosted by Tracy on her blog It’s a T-Sweets Day
On the menu this weekend were ‘Mary Berry Gingersnaps’. Rebecca was kind enough to share her amazing (sounding) recipe. Rebecca is the author of a fabulous blog – Twinklehook
If you don’t know them – you should hop on over to their blogs. Tracy and Rebecca are both awesome and inspiring crafters and wonderful friends! π
I did not ‘bake along’ this week π I knew if I baked those cookies, and have them in the house, then any chance of wearing my jeans, which I accidentally shrunk in the wash π, any chance of wearing them in the near future would just be gone.
So I lived vicariously through the success stories of all the other bakers – while gnawing on a carrot π₯
Now I’ll go back to wielding the crochet hook so my lovely friend will be cold no more π
Have a lovely weekend!
I’m sending you Smiles π Hugs π€ and Love π
