Hello my lovely friends π Happy Hump-Day …well, I hope you had a happy one π€ I’m almost too late (again) with my WIP post. I have to stop starting a project in the morning – so I have something to show you – and then not finish ’til it’s done π
The idea for this brand-new project came to me last night while I was making dinner. I was browning meat, and walked away with ‘Grease Splatter Freckles’ on my hand and wrist…that happens a lot π
My oven mitt is so bulky that I can’t really get a good grip on my spatula. That got me thinking of this…

I love Folk-Art – so, of course- it had to be the house π All that’s left now are the outlines of the windows and the door.
I tried it tonight…and it does work π
Of course I forgot to take a dinner picture – so I took one while making some scrambled eggs for the dogs π
Not the greatest picture, but you get the idea π
It can also be a “hideaway” for your dish soap, oil – or vinegar bottle, etc π
What do you think? Is this anything you would use? Please let me know π€

Now that autumn is right around the corner I’m always on the lookout for more Sweater/Poncho/Scarf Yarn. So I was thrilled to find this here in our Walmart*
It is 100% Acrylic π Not necessarily my favorite…but it’s supersoft and comes in really nice color combos
I bought two each of my favorite colors – not an easy decision let me tell you π and started the first poncho panel. I’m using the Granny Square stitch, so it went pretty fast. One ball is enough for one panel. π I did play some ‘Yarn Chicken’ ….and lost
Oh well, I wasn’t too thrilled anyway when the turquoise/blue turned into green – not the best color/combo (in my opinion) π
See… π
These are the latest projects. You already know all the other ones…and I’m afraid there’s not much happening in that department π
Since it’s going on 8 – I’ll let you get back to what you were doing π Bye for now
